Blacktail is an intermediate mountain that offers good value and a mellow scene. Get there on Wednesday after the snow piles up on Monday and Tuesday while they are closed.
Turner Mountain Turner Mountain, Libby, Montana
This small, one-lift mountain is situated in one of the most sparsely populated spots in the lower 48 but offers a lot of vert, almost guaranteed fresh, and a local scene that is like one giant tailgate party. Bring your Carhartt coveralls.

Whitefish Skatepark Whitefish Skatepark
The newly built Dreamland park in Whitefish will be 15,000 Square feet and offer a good blend of street and tranny.
Kalispell Skatepark
Kalispell's park, also built by the Dreamland crew is small in comparison to Whitefish but offers a lot of bang for your buck in the transition department.
